Lesson #1-Students will collaborate to create, design and produce an Animoto informercial using their assigned Dewey section to teach peers about the section's content.
Concepts: Need to Know About Dewey Decimal organization. Creating and presenting with Animoto.
Lesson #2 - Students will collaborate on library scavenger hunt.
Concepts: Knowledge of cardinal directions, compass rose and transference of 3 dimensional objects to flat perspective.
Lesson #3 - Collaborating to categorize a sampling of library books into an excel spreadsheet.
Concepts: Spine labels, Excel and reading pie graph for the purpose of compare and contrasting data.
Lesson #4 - Present reference section resources through definitions to know the characteristics.
